Alain Froment
Graduated as Master of Agronomy in Institute Unilasalle Beauvais France.
After different activities as technical support in poultry breeding and feed nutritionist in China, Africa, Middle East and Europe, now as Syngenta food chain expert to develop crop quality for feed and food industry.
Lead of Syngenta mycotoxins project Qualimetre in maize since 2002 and cereals since 2008. Innovation golden Awards from “Agriculture and new technology” for Qualimetre team in 2006.
Several Mycotoxins and Fusarium publications in France and one international article Forecast of mycotoxins in Journal of Consumer Protection and Food Safety Ed Springer 2011.
Member of the French Research Program Newmyco 2017-2019 for metabolome of 2 major fungal contaminants.
Mycotoxin lectures in different international congress: ISM International Society for Mycotoxicology 2009 Tuln Austria, EBC European Brewery Convention 2013 Luxemburg, EFS European Fusarium Seminar 2013 Bordeaux France, Fusarium toxin forum committee of experts 2012 and 2018 Brussels Belgium, Contaminants session at French Agriculture Academy in 2017 Paris France, WCFN World Congress for Food and Nutrition 2019 Qingdao China. Poster presentations at WMF World Mycotoxin Forum 2023 Parma Italy and 2025 Salzburg Austria.
