Plant Protection Congresses of Türkiye'The ninth edition of the Türkiye Entomological Society, Türkiye Phytopathological Society, Türkiye Biological Control Association and Türkiye Herbological Society is planned to be organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, TAGEM General Directorate Campus/Ankara between 3-5 September 2025.
With this congress to be organised, it is desired to bring together the stakeholders of the Plant Protection Sector in Türkiye, who have not been face to face for about 5 years due to the COVID 19 pandemic. As it is known, these congresses are also held as a continuation of Türkiye Entomology, Türkiye Phytopathology, Türkiye Biological Control and Türkiye Herbology Congresses. In the congresses, studies carried out in our country or abroad on Entomology, Phytopathology, Biological Control and Herbology are presented and evaluated. Plant Protection Congresses of TürkiyeIt brings together all disciplines of the sector and ensures that they act together and with a common mind in solving or improving problems in the field of plant protection.
We aim to host approximately 400 experienced national and international colleagues, as well as young professionals. We believe that initiating mutual exchange and interaction during this meeting will be of great importance to the advancement of our field. We also think that holding the congress at the premises of the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies will serve as a strong source of motivation, especially for early-career colleagues.
After such a long break, the opportunity to reunite the entire sector in person excites and energizes us. With the valuable support of all stakeholders in the Plant Protection Sector, we are confident that we will organize a successful and impactful congress.
About to meet in Ankara...
Kind regards,
On behalf of the Organising Committee
